Living with chronic back pain for over 15 years, then I couldn't live with it anymore. I had bad experiences in the past with different Chiropractors, so it has taken this long to find a solution to my pain.
Found Dr. Matt Hammett and decided to trust him to do treatments.
So far (after a few weeks) it has already made a big difference for me.

My daughters reflux cured!
My daughter has had reflux since she was an infant and was on meds for it until she turned 1, at that we took her off because we thought she was through it. Come to find out it wasn’t and we struggled with her eating for an entire year, and she started throwing up in her sleep. Her pediatrician wanted to put her back on meds but I hated the thought of her being on them again and never liked it in the first place. I had saw a few of my friends taking their kids to a chiropractor for reflux and they said it helped tremendously. So last March we started taking her and she is a completely different child! We are so happy with her chiropractor care!

At this point I’ve only had 2 adjustments with Dr. Matt, and that evening after I fell asleep, I ended up waking up and it was "light outside"!  Now, that might sound odd on my mentioning that. It’s been years since I had a single night I slept all the way through without waking up 5-6 times! I was so pleasantly shocked that I can not wait for my next few sessions with Dr. Matt to focus on my health.

My son just turned 3 and we've been seeing doctor Matt since he was 6 months old. Around 6 months old my son began trying to crawl but no matter how hard he tried he just couldn't. I'd watch him struggle and I could tell he knew what to do but his body just wouldn't move for him the way he needed it to. After his second adjustment my son started crawling PERFECTLY the next day. The adjustments also drastically reduced his screaming in his carseat. Since then we've regularly seen Dr. Matt as an entire family. After we had our daughter, who is now 1, we immediately had her in for adjustments and neither of our children has ever had an ear infection. I honestly believe this is because of the adjustments. Dr Trish has done so much for our family! My son had severe eczema as an infant and after not getting much help from our Ped, I took him to Dr. Trish. He was so miserable and ultimately was diagnosed with failure to thrive. Dr. Trish helped diagnose the cause of the eczema and within weeks of removing the offending foods from my diet (I was nursing him), his skin cleared up. He hasn't had any issues since. A few years later my daughter was diagnosed with middle ear fluid that was causing minor temporary hearing loss. The Best Doctor I've ever met!
After meeting many doctors Dr. Matt was the one who helped me a lot. I already have more than a year of receiving therapy and I feel the best. When I started going I went with a knee pain and in a few visits the pain was no longer there.
My husband started two years ago, he went with a hard shoulder pain more than two years with that pain and like me in a short time that pain was gone.
My son is 8 months old and he had knee problems from playing soccer. Dr. Matt helped him a lot! And now my son gets happy every time I tell him we have an appointment!

I have always suffered from lower back chronic pain to the point the doctors just wanted to just give narcotics to help with the pain. I have white coat syndrome and have Never had a good experience with Drs. I felt I wasn't being heard. From the moment I stepped foot in the door at New Life Chiropractic I knew I had found the right place!! My goal was no pain and no drugs and I have reached my goal!! There were things I had no idea that I could get over and all I had to do was ask and it was fixed. Not masked with drugs.

Dr. Matt fixed my 45K issue
About 2 years ago, randomly I started to feel ill. It was a weekend of stomach issues which later morphed into a migraine and incredible pain behind my ears. I ended up leaving work that day, driving myself to emergency clinic and received a drug to get rid of the migraine that was presumably causing all of this. The pain never went away, and it only morphed into low grade fever, inability to open my left eye and a midnight ride to the Hospitals Emergency Room. Once admitted, I was kept overnight to bring down my incredibly high heartbeat and was given one dose of steroids. I went home the next day.
Within a 24-hour period, I returned to the Emergency room with the same exact pain and was admitted for a week. They did every test on me under the sun (hence the 45K bill) , including spinal tap and never-ending supply of morphine that really didn’t do much to ease the pain that felt like someone was stabbing my ears and brain. The diagnoses were that I had an incredible sinus infection that has traveled back up (from my ears) and back up to push on the nerves that surrounded my brain. After a full dose of steroids and letting me finish it, I ended up going back home.
Fast forward 6 months later, my ear pain was back. Completely freaked out at this point, I grasped at straws to find a cheaper solution that won’t take me back to the hospital. The only and temporary pain relief that I felt was from taking the extra strength, over the counter Sudafed. Even though this relieved my pain, it kept coming back. I ended up talking to two EMT doctors, one recommended a hearing and allergy test (passed both with flying colors) and the other told me I have a deviated septum and that I immediately needed surgery to correct that. In pain and broke at this point, I almost did the surgery but refrained at the last minute because this solution just didn’t make sense. I just let it be … I guess I must be in pain for the rest of my life.
Fast forward to this year, I started to see Dr. Matt for sciatica issue and one day I overheard him explaining to a patient how an adjustment can help with ear infections. Intrigued, I asked him to do one on me. Within few minutes I felt all my sinuses drain down my throat and a massive lightbulb went on in my head! If my sinuses do not drain, all that sits in my ear tubes and festers. If not taken care of, it can become severely infected and land me in a hospital again. This adjustment has become a standard of my routine now and I feel incredibly lucky to have FINALLY found a solution that not only takes the pain away but doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Ive been going now for a month or so and today brought my whole family. Im pregnant and my midwife recommended I go here. I can start with the front staff. They are all super friendly they greet you and make sure you are taken care of right away. They all make you feel comfortable and like family. The atmosphere is totally relaxing and kid friendly. I was adjusted so far just by Matt. I needed appointment times at 5:15 so my husband would be available for the kids and they are very understanding. I even had to reschedule once and they were not mean about it exactly the opposite they just got me rescheduled with no hard feelings...for me thats important. Life happens with kids and it helps to go to someone who understands. As for my adjustment id been previously to two other chiropractors and im going to stick here. He is professional and friendly and will answer your questions. I can tell he has a passion for what he does because he definetley has shared some interesting insights in chiropractic care that I didnt know. I confessed I was a stomach sleeper and he quickly told me to break that habit which is honesty I appreciate so much. There arent many places I will say care about your well being anymore, and im happy I can say that so far here they care about your wellness over your dollar. I'm not super into Chiropractic care, but my wife asked me to go. We all know how that ends right fellas? Anyways Doc was great. Gave me a heal lift and shot me some tips for how to sit at work. Very happy! The wife has some pretty bad back issues and she has never had a treatment plan. Other offices just adjust her super fast. New Life has her on a treatment plan to correct and reverse her back problems. Pretty cool – two thumbs way way up!

This place - Dr. Trish & Dr. Matt have changed my entire way of thinking and believing about the medical industry. Our bodies naturally heal itself- through nutrition and adjustments. My children and I have been patients since 2008. I was first sceptical when my sister brought me here. I thank the Lord God for these amazing people!!! They care for our children before they are born and will into adulthood. If I’m in pain ANYWHERE in my body..I’m educated and completely on my way to a pain free life. Their knowledge is extensive and comes straight from love of life. A natural life. As was intended. Thank you both!!!

Dr. Matt has been amazing with my whole family! Through his chiropractic care he has helped heal my daughter that had whiplash, son who couldn't straighten his arm back after an injury, and has just helped us maintain our best health.

I have been going to Dr. Matt Hammett for several months now. The office is nice and the staff is great. He is a very good chiropractor and has helped me a lot regarding my hip pain. My mobility has improved over time.
